The African Earth Medicine Bags were asked for. The African Andaras themselves requested to be brought together as a set — five pieces, each one distinct, each one carrying something the others do not. Together, they form something complete.

What they look like

These are not the Andaras people typically expect. They are raw. Earthy. Rugged in the way that Africa itself is rugged — honest, unpolished, carrying the primal energy of land that has never been tamed.

That is entirely deliberate. The African Andaras are not here to be decorative. They are here to work. And their appearance reflects that. The Etherium in the soil where they formed contains more than 70 minerals — the same minerals that make up the human body. Working with these pieces is, in a very literal sense, working with the earth you are made of.

What’s inside

Each African Earth Medicine Bag contains five Andaras: an Aqua Seafoam, an Aqua Andara, a Bicolour Aqua and Gold, a Sea Green, and a Deep Sea Green. These are accompanied by a tan macramé pouch necklet and a 2ml bottle of our custom-made African Andara anointing oil. Everything is packed into a hessian drawstring carry bag. All pieces are activated using Scalar vibrational energy.

The anointing oil

The oil is made specifically to attune you to the African Andara energy. It is blended from traditional organic African essential oils, including the beautiful Cape Lavender and Baobab — plants that carry their own deep connection to this land and its medicine.

Apply it to the third eye chakra before you begin working with the pieces.

How to work with them

Begin with each piece on its own. Wear it. Meditate with it. Let yourself become familiar with its individual energy before you begin combining them. The Andaras will also shine more as they are handled — the minerals in the piece respond to contact with skin.

A suggested order is to start with the Seafoam — the knowledge keeper, the wise one of the set. From there, move through the pale Aqua, then the Bicolour, then the deeper Aqua, and finally the Deep Sea Green, which carries the most powerful energy of all. That said, trust your own guidance. You may be drawn in a different order entirely, and that instinct is worth following.

Once you have spent time with each piece individually, begin working with them in pairs. Use the macramé necklet to wear them close to the body. Place one on the third eye chakra, hold others in your hands, and notice how the energy shifts with each different combination.

Meditating with an Andara and then doing automatic writing is a practice many find deeply effective. Placing a piece under your pillow allows the integration to continue through sleep. There is no single right method — we each receive in different ways, and these pieces will meet you where you are.

Going deeper

The Andaras describe the process of working with this set as moving through water. You begin at the edge of the surf — where the waves meet the shore, where it bubbles and froths and tickles at your feet. Safe. Curious. Just testing.

Gradually you wade deeper. Into the shallows, then the break, then out through the waves to where the water becomes still and vast and deep. And then — you turn, and the ocean carries you back in. Refreshed. Energised. Changed in ways you couldn’t have anticipated from the shoreline.
