Archangel Michael

 

When a recent shipment of Andaras arrived, there were a small number that asked us to activate them to enhance the energy of Archangel Michael. We were uncertain why, so looked into this Archangel to understand the reason for the request.

What is the Archangel Michael known for?

Saint Michael is an archangel, a spiritual warrior in the battle of good versus evil. He is considered a champion of justice, a healer of the sick, and the guardian of the Church. In art Saint Michael is depicted with a sword, a banner, or scales, and is often shown vanquishing Satan in the form of a dragon.

What is the symbol of angel Michael?

In most depictions Michael is represented as an angelic warrior, fully armed with helmet, sword, and shield, in the style of a Byzantine officer, which is typically found even in Western depictions, though some late-medieval ones have him in contemporary knightly armour.

 

 

What is the symbolism for Archangel Michael?

He is viewed as the angelic model for the virtues of the "spiritual warrior", his conflict with evil taken as "the battle within". The second and third roles of Michael in Catholic teachings deal with death. In his second role, he is the angel of death, carrying the souls of Christians to heaven.

How do you call an archangel?

You can call on an archangel or your guardian angel with a simple prayer. Your sincere desire to connect is all that is required. For example, you can say, “Thank you, Archangel Michael, for helping me through this scary situation. I welcome your protection and guidance.”

Does Archangel Michael protect you?

Michael the Archangel, whom the faithful have long looked to for protection in times of peril. The patron of the military and police forces, St. Michael is a fierce warrior and defender of the children of God.

How did Michael become archangel?

With the other two-thirds of the angels he defeated Lucifer and cast him and his supporters out of heaven. Lucifer now became called Satan ("adversary") and those angels who supported him became devils. As a reward for his loyalty Michael was made the chief angel.

Why do people pray to Archangel Michael?

Ultimately, we pray the St. Michael Chaplet to gain the Archangel's protection in battle, to strengthen our bodies and souls against the powers of evil, and to grow in humility through greater reliance on God and less on ourselves.
